Ranveer Singh’s latest film Jayeshbhai Jordaar released on May 13 with much expectations. However, the film is not doing great at the box office. While the film opened to mixed reviews, it looks like it has also failed to impress the audience. Despite its gripping theme revolving around a social issue, as well as ace acting skills showcased by the star cast, many found Jayeshbhai Jordaar unpleasing. According to reports, on Day 6, it earned Rs 16 crore at the total box office collection.
According to early reports, the film earned Rs 1.20 crore on Day 6. Hence, the total box office collection would now stand at Rs 16.39 crore approximately. Meanwhile, Jayeshbhai Jordaar had an overall 8.26 per cent Hindi occupancy on Wednesday, May 18. Moreover, the film is facing tough competition from South films, including KGF: Chapter 2, which hit the cinemas on April 14, and Mahesh Babu starrer Sarkaru Vaari Paata.

Jayeshbhai Jordaar is a social comedy-drama written and directed by Divyang Thakkar. The film is produced by Aditya Chopra and Maneesh Sharma under Yash Raj Films. Ranveer Singh plays the role of Jayeshbhai, a Gujarati man who fights patriarchy, while Shalini Pandey plays the female lead in the film. Ranveer Singh presents a new brand of hero and heroism here.
