The film currently sits at 15 percent hard on Rotten Tomatoes, with a high audience rating of 64 percent, but I’ve never been forced to base my excitement on the release.This movie is obviously rotten, but rotten in a refreshing way. It seems almost lost in time, a relic of an era of superhero filmmaking older than it really is. It seems much more in line with the post-Matrix Resident Evil era of gothic, lightly horror tinted sci-fi/fantasy/action fusions that were big box office draws in the 2000s.
